Covers business, finance, and economics journals; company profiles; Wall Street Journal. In-depth coverage of business conditions, trends, corporate strategies and tactics, management techniques, product information and related topics. 

Academic Search Premier (EbscoHost) R
The world's largest academic multi-disciplinary database, Academic Search Premier provides full text for nearly 4,000 scholarly publications, including full text for more than 3,100 peer-reviewed journals. Coverage spans virtually every area of academic study and offers information dating as far back as 1975. This database is updated on a daily basis via EBSCO host.

Accessible Archives R
Contains rich, comprehensive material found in leading historic periodicals and books. Eyewitness accounts of historical events, vivid descriptions of daily life, editorial observations, commerce as seen through advertisements and genealogical records. Transcribed individual entries are complete with full bibliographic citations and are organized chronologically.

ACM Digital Library R

Citations and full-text of Association for Computing Machinery articles publications. HUL subscribes to the "Digital Library Core Package," which consists of the full text of all ACM journals and magazines, both in print and online, including an archive from the 1950's forward (where available). This package does not include ACM's conference proceedings, and SIG reports. See the list of titles HUL receives and changes in publications 

African American Biographical Database  R
A rich resource of biographical sketches of African Americans, historic photographs and illustrations, and profiles of significant political movements and organizations from 1790 to 1950. Includes narratives of former slaves, artists, homemakers, political activists, religious workers and scientists.

African America, Communists, and the National Negro Congress, 1933-1947 (Gale Archives Unbound) R  

African American Historical Serials Collection ((EbscoHost)) R
Centralized resource contains "[m]ore than 170 unique titles related to African American life and culture; Approximately 60,000 pages of searchable primary source content; Reports and annuals from African American religious organizations and social service agencies, as well as African American periodicals; Extensive coverage of African American religious organizations, churches and institutions."

Aluka  R
An international, collaborative initiative building an online digital library of scholarly resources from and about Africa.  Resource types range from full-text books and academic articles to news clippings, periodicals, archival documents, photographs, letters, previously unpublished reports, maps, pamphlets, oral histories, and other historical documents. There are currently two collections; African Cultural Heritage Sites and Landscapes, and Struggles for Freedom in Southern Africa.

Aluka: African Cultural Heritage Sites and Landscapes  R
African Cultural Heritage Sites and Landscapes (an Aluka content area)includes spatial, visual, and contextual documentation of heritage and rock art sites throughout Africa. The Collection includes photographs, 3D models, GIS data, site plans, aerial and satellite photography, images of rock art, excavation reports, manuscripts, traveller's accounts, historical and antiquarian maps, books, articles, and other scholarly research.

Aluka: Struggles for Freedom in Southern Africa R
Struggles for Freedom in Southern Africa (an Aluka content area) includes an array of materials about the liberation and independence movements in Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. The collection consists of more than 180 000 pages of documents and images, including periodicals, nationalist publications, records of colonial government commissions, local newspaper reports, personal papers, correspondence, UN documents, out-of-print and other particularly relevant books, oral testimonies, life histories, and speeches.

America: History & Life R
English language abstracts of journal articles, articles in collections, dissertations, book and media reviews on the history and culture of the US and Canada.

American Chemical Society Web Editions R
Description: The American Chemical Society is the leading publisher of peer-reviewed research journals in the chemical and related sciences, serving scientific communities worldwide through an unparalleled commitment to quality, reliability, and innovation. The ACS Web Editions comprise of 32-fulltext titles and access to ACS Legacy Archives.

American Mathematical Society Journals R
Search the American Mathematical Society (AMS) database by author, classification, or words, for full-text articles in a single journal or up to eight journals published by the Society combined. American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Research Library R 
The ASCE Research Library is a comprehensive online tool for locating articles of interest across all disciplines of civil engineering. Howard University Library subscribes to the digital journal collection (1995 – Present).

Abstracts and full text of commissioned papers published in 19 annual reviews journals, including: Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Biophysics and Biomolecular Structure, Cell and Developmental Biology, Ecology and Systematics, Entomology, Genetics, Genomics and Human Genetics, Immunology, Medicine, Microbiology, Neuroscience, Nutrition, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Physiology, Phytopathology, Plant Physiology and Plant Molecular, Biology, Psychology, Public Health.

Annual Reviews: Physical Sciences R

Audio Drama: The L.A. Theatre Works Collection R 
The collection comprises of more than 300 important dramatic works in streaming audio from the curated archive of the nation’s premiere radio theatre company. The plays—which include some of the most significant dramatic literature of the nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first centuries—are performed by leading actors from around the world.

Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals R
The Avery Index surveys national and international journals covering architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, historic preservation and interior design.
