Academic Search Premier (EbscoHost) R

ACM Digital Library R
Description: Citations and full-text of Association for Computing Machinery articles publications. HUL subscribes to the "Digital Library Core Package," which consists of the full text of all ACM journals and magazines, both in print and online, including an archive of from the 1950's forward (where available). This package does not include ACM's conference proceedings, and SIG reports. See the list of titles HUL receives and changes in publications

American Mathematical Society Journals (Note limitation at end of description below) R
Description: AMS Journal Database: Search the American Mathematical Society database by author, classification, or words, for full-text articles in a single journal or up to eight journals published by the Society combined. HUL provides fulltext access only to the following titles--all listed in Sterling with e-links to the particular journal: •Conformal Geometry and Dynamics •Representation Theory •Journal of the AMS •Mathematics of Computation •Transactions of the Moscow Mathematical Society •MathSciNet •Proceedings of the AMS

arXiv E-Print Archive
Description: ArXiv is an e-print service in the fields of physics, mathematics, biology, non-linear science and computer science.

Computing Research Repository (CoRR)
Description: E-prints in computer science from ACM, LANL and NCSTRL. Fully searchable and browsable


EbscoHost R
Description: The world's largest academic multi-disciplinary database, Academic Search Premier provides full text for nearly 4,000 scholarly publications, including full text for more than 3,100 peer-reviewed journals. Coverage spans virtually every area of academic study and offers information dating as far back as 1975. This database is updated on a daily basis via EBSCO host. Number of simultaneous logons: Unlimited.

Electronic Journal Service R
Description: Search Ebscohost's gateway to thousands of e-journals by title, subject or keyword to link directly to full text articles. Number of simultaneous logons: Unlimited.

Google Scholar
Description: Google Scholar enables you to search specifically for scholarly literature, including peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, preprints, abstracts and technical reports from all broad areas of research. Use Google Scholar to find articles from a wide variety of academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories and universities, as well as scholarly articles available across the web.

HighWire Press
Description: The journals HighWire supports focus on science, technology, and medicine (STM) and are preponderantly among the highest-impact journals in the literature. Find abstracts, full text articles (thousands may be downloaded free) plus links among authors, articles and citations, advanced searching capabilities, high-resolution images and multimedia, and interactivity. HighWire Press is one of the two largest archives of free full-text science on Earth! As of 11/30/01, HWP is assisting in the online publication of 352,893 free full-text articles and 1,100,190 total articles.

IDEAL --> search ScienceDirect R

Description: INGENTA supplies access to a comprehensive collections of 8,000 academic and professional publications. While many of the articles in its database are full-text, INGENTA also indicates other sources for full-text.

Description: The Institute provides access to electronic editions of its journals.

INTUTE: Science, Engineering & Technology
Description: INTUTE: Science, Engineering and Technology is a free online service providing you with access to the very best Web resources for education and research, evaluated and selected by a network of subject specialists. It covers the physical sciences, engineering, computing, geography, mathematics and environmental science. The database currently contains 33950 records.

Jahrbuch über die Fortschritte der Mathematik
Description: Provides a digital archive of the most important mathematical publications of the period 1868-1942 and a database based on the "Jahrbuch über die Fortschritte der Mathematik"

Description: Electronic access to a comprehensive archive of articles from journals in the arts, humanities, social sciences, mathematics, ecology and botany. Number of simultaneous logons: Unlimited.

MathSciNet R
Description: Contains signed reviews and bibliographic data from the first issue of Mathematical Reviews in January 1940 to the present. Journals, conference proceedings, and books of mathematics research are covered. Items listed in the annual indexes of Mathematical Reviews but not given an individual review are also included. Number of simultaneous logons: Unlimited.

Patent Web Databases
Description: Offers the full text of all US patents issued since January 1, 1976 and full-page images of each page of every US patent issued since 1790 through the most recent weekly issue date

Description: Online encyclopedia and search engine dedicated to computer technology.

Proquest Databases R

Proquest Dissertations and Theses R
Description: With more than 2 million entries, PQD&T is the single, central, authoritative resource for information about doctoral dissertations and master's theses. Dissertations published from 1980 forward include 350- word abstracts written by the author. Master's theses published from 1988 forward include 150-word abstracts. Titles available as native or image PDF formats include free twenty-four page previews. UMI offers over 1.8 million titles for purchase in microform, paper or electronic formats.

Description: Unlimited access to abstracts from the most frequently cited journals in the fields of science, technology and medicine, including browsable tables of contents as well as full text of journals to which the library subscribes. Includes the journals database formerly available from IDEAL. Number of simultaneous logons: Unlimited.

Scirus - For Scientific Information Only
Description: "Scirus is the most comprehensive science-specific search engine on the Internet. Description: An abstracts and citation database of peer-reviewed literature and quality web sources that offers sophisticated tools to track, analyze and visualize research. Since its inception in 2004, it covers scientific, technical, medical and social science fields. Recently it has included arts and humanities literature as well.

SpringerLink R
Description: Description: comprehensive online collection of STM books, journals and reference works. Access thousands of journals, eBooks, book series, eReferences and protocols.

Wiley Online Library R
Description: A portal to the full-text content of Wiley's journal database. Covers over 300 journal titles in science, engineering, computer science, business, education, law and psychology. Number of simultaneous logons: Unlimited.

Zentralblatt MATH
Description: Zentralblatt MATH is the world's most complete and longest running abstracting and reviewing service in pure and applied mathematics. The MATH Database contains more than 1.8 million entries.
