Our Libraries
The Howard University Founders Library serves as the main hub for all of the libraries in the university system and aids in making resources available quickly and easily to those who need them. The flagship of the Howard University Libraries (HUL), Founders Library is the main arts and sciences library and the hub of most of HUL's internal and consortium-based services. The libraries listed below make up the breadth of the information stored within the Howard University Libraries system and serve as key resources on the educational journey of students and help keep the impact of black history in our nation and world alive.
The Wayne A. I. Frederick Undergraduate Library
Since 1983, the Wayne A. I. Frederick Undergraduate Library has been a space specifically designed for collaborative use by our undergraduate population. The Undergraduate library is designed to be a collaborative study space, that is a result of Howard University’s curriculum. It also houses many University departments like the STEM scholars, the Art Digital Studio, the Testing Lab, and more.

Louis Stokes Health Sciences Library
The Louis Stokes Health Sciences Library is the primary health information resource facility for the University's medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing, and allied health sciences students and faculty, as well as Howard University Hospital staff and other healthcare providers and researchers.
School of Law Library
The Howard University School of Law Library's mission is to provide a quality, complete collection of legal materials for the Law School's faculty and students. (As of Summer 2015, the Howard University School of Divinity Library was temporarily relocated to the 4th floor of the Law Library building.)
